Description

Growing in poverty and in a abusive home gave me a perspective in life that is a little deeper and emotionally attached than most. Good moments didn't come often, but when they did I savored them. I tried to keep a mental note of how I felt, what I saw, and of any other senses that were peaked in the moment. During bad times being able to take myself back to these moments were crucial. They were all I had, and I would often find myself visiting these memories even when things weren't so bad.

As I grew older things improved for me. I was able to dig myself out of what seemed to be an inevitable future. I learned very quickly that certain visuals can bring on other senses and elevate or alleviate your mood. I stopped relying on memories and started to take in the things around me. It became known to me, that beauty everywhere. Beauty is all around us! I started to appreciate anything and all things around me. I noticed things that weren't beautiful to me were beautiful to others. So I learned to see threw their eyes, and more beauty surrounded me. Aware that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I explored many different forms of art. It turned out that I am not so good a painter as I am a photographer.

I am here to share beauty with you to inspire new beauty in you. My hope is that in the instance that you may not yet see the beauty in what's around you can find happiness in what's around me. Life is beautiful!!
